Fred Cheng entered the TVB New Talent Singing Contest 2001 after he finished highschool and won second. Got his first phone call and asked if he was interested actig in a series named Shine On You he accepted and went back to hong kong. After that show Yu Chiu quitted acting and became a newspaper reporter and also after finishing Shine On You he recived some other phone calls which asked him if he was intereted in other series and he accepted. Afterwards his journey of being an actor was succed. But he wants to try out singing sometimes instead of alwayz acting. On set he still feels nervous. In november he was interview by a newspaper. Also he has a website named www.fredcheng.com this website is made by his fans Down there are some of the movies that he acted.
