Welcome. My name is Frank Schulenburg. I've been a volunteer editor at the German Wikipedia since February 2005. The German Wikipedia is the first project I joined, but I quickly got involved with other projects (Commons, Meta, Wikisource, Wikinews) as well. I was made an administrator on the German Wikipedia in October 2005 and on the German Wikisource in July 2006. I was the leading organizer of the first Wikipedia Academy, a conference for academics and students held June 2006 in Göttingen, Germany. I am a board member of Wikimedia Deutschland and a member of the Wikimedia Foundation's Events Committee. Topics I write about are Early Modern and Medieval History.
