Franz I, Prince of Liechtenstein (28 August 1853 - 25 July 1938) was the prince of Liechtenstein between 1929 and 1938. He was the son of Alois II of Liechtenstein and his wife Countess Franziska Kinsky and succeeded his older brother Johannes II.
He was ambassador at the Court of the Tsar in Petersburg between 1894 and 1899. Once prince of Liechtenstein, he continued the economic reforms initiated by his brother.
He married Elisabeth von Gutmann on 22 July 1929. He died without any descendants and was succeeded by his cousin Franz Josef II.
