Franz Drdla

In music, Frantisek Alois Drdla (Nov. 28 1868-1944) was a Bohemian composer and violinist, born in Moravia in what is now the Czech Republic. He composed the popular Vision and Serenade for violin and piano, as well as other works for those instruments (eg Träumerei, Op. 21) and other combinations of instruments, such as a duet for guitars. He also composed two operettas.
