Franny Fantootsie

Franny's Feet is a 30-minute animated series for children. It is produced by Decode Entertainment in Ontario, Canada. The show follows the adventures of 5½-year-old Franny Fantootsie as she tries on various pairs of shoes and travels to different places in the world. The show first appeared on CBC on 1 January 2004, went on Family Channel the following September and was introduced to PBS Kids in selected markets beginning in summer 2006.

Five and a half-year-old Franny (voiced by Phoebe McAuley) visits with her grandpa (voiced by George Buza) every day at his shoe repair shop. They like to talk about matters until "a customer!" comes. The customer presents the problem pair to Granpa, and he gives the pair to Franny to place inside the storage room. But secretly, Franny tries on the pair and they take her to a magical place such as a Native American powwow in Wyoming, a sunny beach in Jamaica, or a high mountain in China.

The show is designed to teach children about the joys of exploring for the first time. It has has been praised by critics in the United States and Canada and has been honored as an Outstanding Product of 2006 by iParenting Media Awards.
