Franklin Távora

Franklin Távora (Ceará, 1842-1888) was a novelist, politician, and journalist from Brazil. He was among the original patrons of the Academia Brasileira de Letras. He is a regionalist author whose works include O Cabeleira, O Matuto, and Lourenço.
