Frankie Wessing is a Australian comic book artist and designer who started his career fresh out of high school with Walt Disney Animation Australia.

Frankie was first hired By Walt Disney Animation straight out of high school after sending in various samples. Starting in the Inbetweening department at disney he quickly jumped to the layout department were he worked on various film sequels such as Lion King II, The Little Mermaid II , Beauty and the beast II, Aladdin II, Aladdin and the King of Thieves, 101 Dalmations II, Lady and the Tramp II Scamp's Adventure, Jungle Book II as well as television series such as Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles , Gummi Bears, Gadget Boy, Timon and Pumba and many more.

After more than 5 years employment at Walt Disney, He then created and formed his own business ArtbyFrankie based out of canberra focusing on Comic illustration and design. In that time ArtbyFrankie Has completed work for several american independant comic publishers such as Approbation Comics and Ronin Studio's. Frankie is now collabrating with Argh Studio's on a creator owned series for Image and Dark Horse Comic's.
