Frank Stone joined Harchester United in the summer of 2004 from Wigan Athletic with manager Don Barker. His greatest moment in a Harchester shirt was when he scored the winner against Barcelona which kept Harchester in the Champions League and took them in to the 2nd round against S.S. Lazio in which he scored a penalty

Stone was married to Don's daughter Jodie but they split up after she found out he was gay. The whole team found out about it when Don told a news reporter, causing Jodie to have a miscarriage.

He was one of the first to be announced dead in the bus explosion.
