Frank Lohan

Frank Lohan (born in 1974), from Shannon Co. Clare. He is brother of the legendary full back Brian Lohan. He was born into a family that had a strong hurling tradition as his father, Gus Lohan who played for both the Galway and Clare senior hurling teams. Frank has played corner back alongside his brother Brian since 1995, & continues to play now although Brian is now retired from inter-county hurling with Clare(at the end of the 2006 championship). Frank plays club hurling with Wolfe Tones na Sionna.

He has won every underage medal with the club and now holds two senior hurling county final medals(1996 & 2006), one Munster club medal & was All-Ireland runners up in 1997. With Clare, Frank has won three Munster titles, two All-Irelands & one All Star. He is nominated for the All-Stars team 2006.
