The Frank J. DeFrancis Memorial Dash Stakes is a race for thoroughbred horsesrun in honor of the patriarch of the family that owned and managed the Maryland Jockey Club. A Grade I sprint event, it's open to horses age three and up and set at a distance of six furlongs on the dirt at Laurel Park race course.

The Dash offers a purse of $300,000 in 2005.
