Frank Baumann (born October 29, 1975) is a German footballer. He currently plays for the German club Werder Bremen.

Baumann was born in Würzburg (Bavaria).
Having started out as a midfielder, Baumann's talents were soon recognized in a defensive position. He moved in 1999 to Werder Bremen where he became the club captain.
As of March 2005 Baumann has featured in 28 internationals, scoring two goals. He played his debut for Germany in a 1-0 victory against Norway in Oslo on November 14, 1999. Baumann also took part in the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the 2004 European Football Championship.
