Frank Bateman Keefe

Frank Bateman Keefe (1887–1952), was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 1939-1951, serving Wisconsin's 6th District. He retired from the United States Congress after serving six terms. He was born in Winneconne, Wisconsin on September 23, 1887. He graduated from what is today the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, in 1906 and was a school teacher in Viroqua, WI for two years. He received his law degree from the University of Michigan in 1910 and practiced law in Oshkosh, WI, later serving as the district attorney for Winnebago County, WI from 1922-1926. He resumed his law practice after his years in Congress and died in Neenah, WI on February 5, 1952. He is intered Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh, WI.
