Javi Garcia (born February 8, 1987 in Murcia) is a Spanish footballer. A talented defensive midfielder that has grown in the Real Madrid youth ranks for the past 5 years.

Summer 2006 was a very busy summer for the youngster. First he won the european championship with the U-19 Spanish squad impressing a lot of people including the Real Madrid first team head coach Fabio Capello, an impression that bought him a first team place for a while. Javi played in most of real madrid's last summer games, including a place in the starting lineup in both Ramón de Carranza Trophy games alongside new purchase Emerson.
Matchday 1 - Villareal - Real Madrid
At the end of the summer Javi was supposed to graduate to the first team squad but a situation of too many players in the squad prevented that golden opportunity. Although not graduating to the senior team, Javi is supposed to get a lot of opportunities to show his talent, especially because of the fact that after the sale of Gravesen and Pablo Garcia, there are no defensive midfielders available.
