Francis Egerton, 7th Duke of Sutherland

Francis Ronald Egerton, 7th Duke of Sutherland (born 18 February 1940) is a Scottish peer. He was educated at Eton and RAC Cirencester. He married Victoria Egerton on 11 May 1974, and has two sons James Granville, Marquess of Stafford (August 12, 1975) and Lord Henry Alexander (February 28, 1977); the latter is married to Harriet Carter.

The current duke has one granddaughter, Beatrice Georgina (b. 7 June 2005), daughter of his second son.

In 2000, he succeeded his first cousin, once removed, as 7th Duke of Sutherland.

He ranked 209th in the Sunday Times Rich List 2005, with an estimated wealth of £230m.
