Frances Amey was best known as Dinah Hunter in her role in the BBC TV series The Demon Headmaster which is based on the book series by Gillian Cross.

Frances Amey played Dinah Hunter for all the demon headmaster series which ran on BBC one between 1996 and 1998 for three series.

Frances Amey is studying for a dental degree at Newcastle University, she is a member of the Newcastle University Theatre Society
