France Info (Info is an abbreviation for Informations) is a French public news radio, part of Radio France. It is the major news radio in France.
France Info was created in 1987 by Roland Faure and Jérôme Bellay. Years after years, its audience growed, notably after the social conflicts of 1995 and 2003. Frequently, it is estimated like the fourth radio network in listeners behind NRJ, RTL and France Inter.
