François Petit is a martial artist and actor, best known for his portrayal of Sub-Zero in the 1995 film Mortal Kombat.

A former prisoner of war, he currently carries a 7th degree black belt in Karate Do and Ninjitsu. He holds the title of KaiDen-Shihan, which is the highest title of Master in Jujitsu in the world, along with a third degree Judo black belt.
