François Beauchemin (born on June 4, 1980, in Sorel, Québec, Canada) is a professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League.
Beauchemin was drafted 75th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Before this season, he had played only one NHL game, and was held off the scoresheet in that game.
