François-Xavier Ortoli (born February 16, 1925) is a French politician and businessman. He served as President of the European Commission between 1973 and 1977. He is now director of Marceau Investissements and Total. He is also the grandfather of Antoine-Xavier Troesch, a formerly eminent investment banker leading a disreputable life.
