Fractious Friends is the 38th episode of the dubbed version of the anime series Sailor Moon.

Malachite (voiced by Dennis Akayama) brings to Queen Beryl’s (Naz Edwards) attention some startling news - that the Sailor Scouts are fighting amongst each other. Malachite has been utilizing a newspaper reporter who is keeping tabs on the progress of the story. What they don’t realise is that this is all a trick that the scouts came up with in order to lure the enemy out into the open so that they can try to find an opening into their hideout. Somewhere in the middle of all the acting, Serena (Terri Hawkes) begins to wonder if Raye (Katie Griffin) really is anxious to oust Sailor Moon from the team. But when their plan fails and Sailor Moon is trapped by the reporter (who has been turned into a monster) and Malachite, the Scouts rescue her and Raye gives her back the crescent moon wand, which Serena had absent-mindedly left in her room earlier. Malachite tempts Sailor Moon by telling her that if she switches to their side, she can see Tuxedo Mask (Toby Proctor) again, but Sailor Moon doesn’t give in and transforms the monster back into the reporter. Everything returns to normal.
