Frédéric Monod (1794-1863) was a French Protestant pastor.

The brother of Adolphe Monod, he was greatly influenced by Robert Haldane. Along with Count Gasparin, Monod founded the Union of the Evangelical Churches of France; his son, Theodore, (b. 1836) followed in his footsteps.
