Foxy Grandpa

Foxy Grandpa was a cartoon character who first appeared in an eponymous newspaper comic strip in 1900.

The strip was created by cartoonist Bunny Schultze and initially ran in the New York Herald. It featured the character "Foxy Grandpa," who was an elderly gentleman whose two gransons, "Chub" and "Bunt," were constantly trying to trick. Foxy Grandpa, however, always managed to get the better of the two boys.

The strip ran in various media, including newspapers, Broadway shows, and even early silent films (with Foxy Grandpa played by stage performer Joseph Hart. The strip ran in one form or another into the 1930s.
