Foster Dam is an embankment type earth fill structure across the South Santiam River near Sweet Home, Oregon. It's primary purpose is flood control but also provides power, navigation improvement downstream and irrigation. Foster Lake is a popular fishery and water sports location. The lake stores 28,300 acre-feet. The powerhouse has two generators with a capacity of 20MW.
