If the money stays in barbados then will the canadian government be able to tax it?

Also, attribute the source of this article that seems obviously copied (because the tenses don't match to wikipedia ones)

The taxation agreement between Barbados and Canada was mainly to allow Scotiabank, CIBC and RBC to send their banking profits from the Caribbean back to Canada tax free. CaribDigita 00:31, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
