The robot in this image is Robby the Robot. The image is not true to the character of the robot. Here it appears that a ferocious monster has abducted a maiden. On the contrary, Robbie was a very gentle character with a surprising amount of personality, including an unintentional dry wit, and bound by the programming installed by his creator to never harm humans and to assist them when possible.

The clinging and brief clothing on the distressed young lady is true to the costuming of that character, although Robby is never seen carrying her. While robust, Robby was not so tall, and so the relative proportions of the two characters are also not accurate.
