Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center is a public magnet school located near downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus Public Schools. The school opened in 1976 on the site of Fort Hayes, a military base closed in the early 70's.

Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center has two divisions:

  • Fort Hayes Arts and Academic High School
  • Fort Hayes Career Center

The school does not offer athletics, however students can participate on athletic teams at their neighborhood school.
