Fort Conti

Fort Conti, was a fort built in Niagara County, Youngstown, New York, January, 1679, on the site of Fort La Salle. Captain Robert Cavelier de La Salle was in charge of the construction.

The fort was attacked by raiders from the Seneca tribe, in November of the same year. The occupants escaped, and the fort was burned.
