Foreglen

Foreglen is a small village in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, 6 km west of Dungiven on the A6 Foreglen Road, a main route linking Belfast and Derry. Limavady is 18 km to the north and Derry is 23 km to the north west. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 285 people. It lies within the Limavady Borough Council area.

The village is a small linear settlement comprising public authority and private sector housing, with a number of local services and facilities including a local primary school, church, shop, post office, public house, and recreational facilities at O’Briens GAC playing fields. Although the village has good road links, it has relatively limited public transport connections.
