The Ford Super Duty engine was an automobile engine from Ford Motor Company.

A V8 engine produced in capacities of 401, 477, or 534 in³, the Super Duty was introduced in 1958 along with the FE and MEL series V8s. These engines appeared in medium and heavy-duty trucks of the time and were large, heavy, slow speed engines. They were never designed as automobile engines.

The Powerstroke diesel engines are the biggest and most powerful engines put in the Super Duty trucks.
