In this period comedy, Stephen Chow stars as Ling Ling Fat, an incompetent secret agent and personal bodyguard of the emperor. He is working as a gynecologist. He has a pretty and lovely wife.

• Ling Ling Fat is a Cantonese wordplay on the code number "008", a reference to James Bond - whose number was 007 as well as part of a Cantonese Chinese New Year's Greeting: "Gong hei fatt choy".
