For God and Country was a 2003 Dolly Parton album, featuring spirituals and patriotic songs. Considered largely Parton's musical attempt to deal with the aftermath of 9/11, the album received mixed reviews but did manage to make it to # 23 on the U.S. country albums chart. It is perhaps best remembered for its cover photo, depicting Parton posing as though appearing in a vintage USO poster.
