A machine that is used for folding, usually paper or clothing. Is also known as a folder or a paper folding machine. It is normally used in newspapers and printing

There are 2 types of feeding which folders take, the first is flat pile, this is were the paper is placed on a feeding table and is suction fed through the machine.

The second type is called "round pile"; this involves the sheets being placed onto a belt, which takes it around the machine and then is suction fed to the folding units.
