Foaly the centaur is a fictional character in the Artemis Fowl series of books. He is, as the name suggests, a centaur, and works for the LEP as a technology expert. Later on, in Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony, he begins work in Section 8. He seems to share a bond with Artemis Fowl II, due to their both being genii.

When Foaly was working in the LEP, he was very show-offy and felt the need to confuse Commander Root whenever he was explaining a peice of equipment, or a machine.
