Hi and welcome to Wikipedia. It's great to see a fellow CP grower on the site! :-) You might be interested in checking out Wikipedia:WikiProject Carnivorous plants. All the best, Mgiganteus1 01:31, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

thanks for the welcome. I don't know how to write back to you directly (yet). More power to the wikiCPcommunity.

To write back simply click on a username and then go to the talk page by clicking the "discussion" button at the top. Also, to sign your comments and leave a timestamp, use four tildes (~~~~). Mgiganteus1 00:04, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

A welcome from me as well! I'm glad you've joined - you've already made some valuable additions to the CP pages! You seem to be catching onto how things work rather quickly, but if you have any questions feel free to ask. I look forward to working with you! NoahElhardt 23:38, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Photographs

Hi and thanks again for your kind words. You guys and the rest on this project are doing a most noble and decent effort.... so my accolades go out to all of you for organizing and getting this project off the ground in the first place.

My first question is the offering of images to everyone.

I don't really have a problem posting my photos on Wikipedia for all to use and enjoy on Wikipedia, but I have seen some of my earlier photos used on commercial sites without my permission. And one of the commercial sales sites have recently been caught and thus, blacklisted, for cheating folks on sales... so I find it unethical for some to take without contributing. I understand that once a photo is uploaded to Wikipedia, it's free for all to use, and you lose your rights...with no input where your pics may go.

What are your thoughts? I have thousands of CP photos amassed over the years, and it does no one any good to have them all stored in shoe boxes and hard drives in my home. Flytrap canada 16:51, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
