Flyjet is a charter airline based at London Gatwick, newcastle international United Kingdom which was bought out by new airline Silverjet in October 2006. [1]
The airline operates services to Mediterranean holiday destinations such as Spain, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Canary Islands and Africa, India, [ and the Middle East. Its main bases are Manchester International Airport, London Gatwick and Newcastle Airport.
The company holds a United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority Type A Operating Licence, and is permitted to carry passengers, cargo and mail on aircraft with 20 or more seats. [2]

The airline was established in 2002 and started operations in June 2003. It was owned by Mike Hawkins (49.9%) and Shaun Dewey (49.9%).
