Fly fm is a private radio station in Malaysia owned by Media Prima Berhad. It first aired in late-2005 and targets viewers aged 15-30 years old. Fly fm is the second most popular English station in the country after hitz.fm. [citation needed]
This station broadcasts live from KLIA.
Recently, Fly fm started a programme slot called "50 minutes of non-stop music" in which the crew will air songs for 50 minutes without commercials. It was proved a success as many people can now hear Fly FM as an "alternative" radio station when Hitz.fm is airing their commercials.
Fly FM not only airs English songs, but also music in Malay and Mandarin. This makes Fly Fm one of the first radio stations in Malaysia to broadcast songs in more than 2 languages.
Popular DJs in this station are Flyguy, Phat Fabes, Ben, Nina, Steve, Shel, Jules, Basil and Hansen.
