"Fly Me Away" is an electronic–dance song written by British duo Goldfrapp for their third album Supernature (2005). It was produced by Goldfrapp, and received a mixed reception from music critics. The song was released as the fourth single during the spring of 2006 (see 2006 in music). However, the song only peaked at a disappointing #26 in the UK, arguably due to poor promotion. The song's music video, directed by Chris Hopewell, features lead singer Alison Goldfrapp being played by a specially made animated doll. However, on May 22, Mute Records announced that the video's release was cancelled for reasons that were never disclosed.
As was the case with previous Goldfrapp singles, "Fly Me Away" was licensed for use in television advertising, most notably for Target Corporation's 2006 holiday season campaign in North America.
