[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello, Flutefluteflute, I'm Kafziel. I noticed you were new, or at least that nobody has officially welcomed you yet, so let me be the first to say hello, give you some tips, and share a few useful links.

Here are some links you might find helpful:

I know they're a little boring (okay... a lot boring) but they may come in handy someday.

I give every newcomer two tips for adding content: cite references whenever possible, and try to set aside any personal points of view. Aside from that, just be patient and receptive, ask questions whenever you need to, and have a good time.

Now that you have your own user name, you can sign your discussions on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically stamp your user name, the time, and the date. That will help other users reply to your posts. You may also want to fill out your user page to tell others a bit about yourself.

I hope this information is useful to you, and I'm looking forward to seeing your contributions. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me for help. Good luck, and happy editing! Kafziel 17:36, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Thebugradiowhite.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Thebugradiowhite.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:12, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Page header

Hi, Flutefluteflute. I reverted the dog pic removal because I rotate these headers on my page. If you want, I can help you set up the same type of thing in your userspace, it's pretty easy. Then you can add any pic you want in the corner too! :-) Regards, Rfrisbietalk 19:53, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes please. When you say rotating do you mean automatic or manual? Should I reply here or on your talk page?-- flutefluteflute  -->  talk  -->  contributions  19:54, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Right now, I do it manually, just when I feel like it, but when I wrote that, I thought, "Oh, I could do that like the quotes & pics at the top of my talk page!" By the way, when we move it, you can change the links at the top to your area as well. Let's just talk about it here. :-) Rfrisbietalk 19:58, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

I would love to continue this conversation but must go now - I will talk tommorrow. Thanks for your help. -- flutefluteflute  -->  talk  -->  contributions  20:01, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

I switched the talk page header. However, it doesn't work right on your main page with the userbox box for some reason. That should get you started. :-) Rfrisbietalk 20:15, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Help Me

I wanted to create a category of wikipedians who listen to Just a Minute but I think I have messed something up badly. The pages involved are:

and I was copying the idea from:

Please help!

I think I've sorted it. JDtalk 15:29, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks -- flutefluteflute  -->  talk  -->  contributions  15:30, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Whoa, massive signature. You might wanna consider shortening that a bit; perhaps read WP:SIG#Length. JDtalk 15:31, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the point. I will definately look at shortening it!
