New York City's public school system is divided into 10 regions, each of which contains 2, 3, or 4 Community School Districts. Public education in Queens County (i.e. the borough of Queens in New York City) is provided by the following regions:

Region 3 districts 25, 26, 28, 29
Region 4 districts 24, 30
Region 5 district 27

Queens is also served by the 3 citywide districts of New York City:

CSD 75 Special education
CSD 79 Alternative high schools and programs
CSD 84 Charter schools

There is no county-level administration of education in New York City; curriculum and policy are set at the city and region level. As such, there is no Queens County Dept. of Education or county education officers. Please see the city or region articles for more details.
