Floyd Lawrence Begin

Floyd Lawrence Begin (February 5, 1902 – April 26, 1977) was a bishop of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States. He was the Bishop of Oakland in Oakland, California.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Begin was ordained to the presbyterium of the Diocese of Cleveland on July 31, 1927. On March 22, 1947, Begin was appointed auxiliary bishop of Cleveland and was ordained to the episcopate on May 1 of that year. On January 27, 1962, Begin was appointed Bishop of Oakland and installed on April 28. He died in office and was succeeded by John Stephen Cummins.
