Florida State Road 750

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Locally known as Airport Boulevard, State Road 750 is a 0.7-mile long spur from Ninth Avenue in Pensacola to the entrance of Pensacola Regional Airport. The original western terminus was an intersection with Pensacola Boulevard (US 29-SR 95) two miles west of the current western end of SR 750. Airport Boulevard between US 29 and SR 750 is now Escambia County Road 750.

Since the State of Florida renumbered its Florida State Roads in 1945, a grid system of designation was imposed. While Pensacola is in a region of Florida in which all three-digit State Roads should begin with a "1" or "2", its collection of State Roads has a few that begin with a “7” (usually used near Sarasota or Stuart, both over 400 miles away):

State Road 727 – Fairfield Drive west of US 90.

State Road 742 – Burgess Road and Creighton Boulevard in Pensacola

State Road 750 – Airport Boulevard in Pensacola

State Road 752 – Texar Drive in Pensacola
