Florida State Road 26

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

State Road 26 is an east-west route across northern Florida.

The western terminus of State Road 26 is at US 19/US 98/State Road 55 in Fanning Springs, near the Gilchrist/Levy county line. The route proceeds east through Trenton, then into Alachua County and Newberry until it reaches Gainesville. There it merges with State Road 24 and State Road 20, separating again near the eastern city limits. Skirting the western and northern shores of Newnan's Lake, it then crosses US 301 in Orange Heights. The next town along the route is Melrose, where the road enters Putnam County and crosses State Road 21, before it ends at State Road 100 in Putnam Hall.
