Flora Jessop

Flora Jessop is a critic and former member of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints church, a polygamous off shoot of the Mormon church.

Jessop was raised in Colorado City, Arizona. At the age of 13 she attempted to bring sexual assault charges against a family member for sexual assault but returned to her home. At 16 years old she fled a forced marriage to a cousin and began to seek ways to end what she called child abuse in polygamous families.

She now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband and two children.
