[edit] The "Phantom" Season
I just got an e-mail back from the proprietor of the Hockeydb.com... he says according to the Toronto Sun archives, the SOJHL operated in 1976-77. He says that the Guelph Platers/CMC's, Owen Sound Greys, Hamilton Mountain A's, and a Collingwood team (probably the Blues) were members and he added that there were probably more. He also said that the Platers were that year's champions and faced the North York Rangers in OHA Final... any thoughts? I think he may be right... but stats and info are is hard to find from that league... DMighton 17:14, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- I see potential for the Chatham Maroons, Welland Sabres, and maybe the Niagara Falls Flyers maybe playing that year... if NFF didn't actually fold in 1976. I'm thinking of driving to Chatham in the next month and have a look in their library. DMighton 17:22, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Hey man! I honestly don't know how did I get to this page. But when I saw your photo I thought, lol, he looks like Lex Luthor from Smallville u know? So well, then I saw you are wikipedian since 2005 and I thought, hey, let's check his talkpage, and lol, I found two comments. I thought it was like a bit sad so I thought, hey, let's post him a comment so he'll have three comments, so it will be like more fun and stuff. So hey! here I am!

Your AHL season page is my first page on new page patrol. I see you do great work on hockey. Have you seen my Template:Professional_Hockey. I am not sure where it should be placed and how to add internationl leagues to make it more analogous to templates I have created for the 4 major sports. Looks good there! To the degree WP:OWN lets me, I feel proprietary over the Indians' article (I was a season ticket holder the final six years of the team's existence), and helping, skilled hands are appreciated. RGTraynor 15:16, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
