The xxxx-xx AHL season was the Nth season of the American Hockey League. Twenty-seven teams played 80 games each in the schedule. The champion team won the Calder Cup, defeating the other team in the finals.

- The dormant resting team resume operations as the new team, playing in the x division.
- The old names are relocated to new city, state and renamed the new names.
- The current team shift from the old division to the new division.
