Flix (cable network)

Flix is a premium cable television network and is owned by Showtime Networks who also run Showtime. It launched in 1991. Flix features movies from the 1960s to the 1980s. The channel's tagline is "Movies You Grew Up With".
In its early days, Flix was available on most cable television systems. The channel is now available on DirecTV and Dish Network as well.

Launched in 2005 [1] Flix On Demand is the VOD counterpart to Flix. Flix On Demand offers classic movies from the '50s through the '90s. Flix On Demand divides movies by decades: '50 & '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s.
