Flight Cadet

A Flight Cadet is a military or civilian title that is held by someone who is in training to operate an airplane. The training need not to become a pilot, as Flight Cadets may also be learning to serve as a co-pilot, navigator, or flight engineer.
During World War II, the rank of Flight Cadet was known in the United States Army Air Forces as "Aviation Cadet".
