Flick Omsford is one of the main characters in The Sword of Shannara, a fantasy novel by Terry Brooks. Unlike his adopted brother, Shea Omsford, Flick has no Elven blood in him. Although he is deeply devoted to his brother, they have quite different personalities as Flick can be somewhat sarcastic and pessimistic at times. Though at first feeling quite useless in comparison to the other members of the party, Flick eventually exhibits resourcefulness and courage and distinguishes himself by saving the life of the Elven King, Eventine Elessedil. Makes a return appearance in the second book of the series, The Elfstones of Shannara as Wil Ohmsford's great uncle.
