Fli4l

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The correct title of this article is fli4l. The initial letter is shown capitalized due to technical restrictions.

fli4l is a MiniLinux distribution developed by German developers. The project's aim is to provide a small Linux system that fits onto a single floppy and turns any machine into a router. Thus, it is possible to share a DSL connection with other machines on a local network, and provide security by means of a firewall. The hardware requirements are very low. fli4l provides simple routing functionalities as NAT, but there are many extensions available to extend the router's functionality.
