Flavour of the Old School was the debut single by British soul singer, Beverley Knight. The track, which peaked at #50 on the UK Singles Chart when it was released in March 1995, was accompanied by a low budget video that saw Knight in the recording studio singing directly into the camera.

Flavour of the Old School received a second release in October 1995 as her third single. It became Knight's highest charting single from her debut album, The B-Funk. The release was supported by a new video and the song was heavily supported by urban radio in the UK.
